HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
I’ve been hanging out with Mommy and Poppy more this week. Sometimes I feel like a big girl, and I want to be on my own or just cats with Tipper. But sometimes I like to be where I can see and touch my hoomans. Specially just after I hide in the bestibugle vestibule and stay shut in there all night.
So I was sitting with Mommy and Poppy, and they were watching the flat people on the big flat thing, and a lady in a pretty dress was playing music and then this happened! I couldn’t stop staring!
The lady got lifted up by a giant gorilla-cat!
It was so exciting, I took lots of naps to recover!
Tipper let Mommy post some pictures last week when it was his turn for Caturday so I’m letting her post some this week. She said this groundhog-cat was right outside her office window. She left some of the window frame in some of the pictures to show how close he was.
A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you watch the flat things with your hoomans?

August 24, 2019 at 7:19amWow…that thing looks like an otter or maybe a wombat with a tail. Just as well you and Tipper were inside where it’s safe. Do those things…bite??

August 24, 2019 at 10:09amIt’s a groundhog aka woodchuck. They would probably bite if cornered and threatened but they’re herbivores, curious but shy. He was feasting on groundcover. Some people eat them. I just take pictures. 🙂

August 25, 2019 at 8:15amI think they’re so cute! So chubby and curious. They would totally be my spirit animal if they didn’t move so fast. #4 Daughter says my spirit animal is the giant land turtle.

August 25, 2019 at 7:22amI didn’t know groundhogs could climb. I’m guessing it’s not something they do much.

August 25, 2019 at 8:18amHe didn’t climb very far, so I think you’re right. Maybe they usually climb bushes. That would make him a … wait for it … BUSH-HOG! ~ba-DUM-bum-CHING~
