Our #1 Daughter, who lives next door, brought us some of her zucchini bread, which is better than chocolate cake. I say that as someone who, when I say “cake”, actually mean “chocolate cake”. Because chocolate.
But this post isn’t about the zucchini bread, stellar as it is. It’s about how we gobbled most of it up and had one piece left. Sad.
She also gave us a half-pint of the weirdest, bestest ice cream EV-ver, Kroger’s Private Selection Wildberry Lavender Mascarpone. It’s so good, we’ve been rationing it. Not because we couldn’t buy more, but because it’s so good, it deserves the respect of rationing.
We also had two li’l peaches from the farmers market left.
So this happened.

At the Kroger, they have an insane amount of ice cream choices. Sometimes I go in there and buy an embarrassing amount of ice cream, because they have EVERYTHING!

JayC is Kroger’s poor country cousin, and doesn’t usually have the insane kind, just the mildly eccentric kind. Still, #1 Daughter found THIS at JayC, so maybe our chances are not so dim.
