Down on the Farm #ThursdayDoors

We visited some friends, and of course I bewildered them by taking pictures of doors.

I love their back porch, with its cedar ceiling, dog-gate (dogs not shown), clock, and two sets of doors beyond: white ones ahead and stained wood ones on the right.

Here are the stained ones up too close to see them ~sigh~. They’re slidey ones!!!

John offered to open that one, and seemed oddly relieved to learn that I was taking pictures of doors, not of the interiors of sheds.

And this lovely one, with a light for Joey.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What’s inside that shed???

Right, Jean! Their whole house is like that: Big AND cosy. Not easy to make a big house feel cosy, but these friends seem to manage without effort. You can tell that everything is there because they want it to be there and appreciate its being there. ๐Ÿ™‚
