Momma is gone AGAIN! This time, she’s at a place called Magna cum Murder, where they celebrate killing people.
Chickie: It is not! Mommy said it’s a festival for people who like to write and read and watch mysteries!
Oh. Well, she still isn’t here, holding me like a baby and giving me head scritches. I miss her!
Chickie, when is she ever coming home?
Chickie: One more sleep, big brudder. Just think about happier times, and she’ll be home before we know it. Poppy is my hooman, but I miss her, too.
Also: Chickie got out on the back porch twice, but Poppa caught her once and Momma caught her once. I almost got out the basement door twice, but Momma caught me once and Poppa caught me once. That’s hoomans 4, cats 0.

I just came back from being away for 2 days and I’m getting the cold shoulder from Theo. Apparently I haven’t been forgiven yet. Husband just doesn’t cater to all his whims the same way I do 😏
