Tuna Wrap #pescatarian

I love tuna salad, me. Charlie can take it or leave it, but I’m like the Cookie Monster of tuna salad. If it’s made with mayo, that is, not that “Miracle” thing. Ick.

I make mine with vegan mayo, chopped celery, slivered water chestnuts, onion powder (because Charlie can’t eat raw onion), and salt (Charlie doesn’t like pepper).

We usually have it on toast or with crackers, but I found some whole wheat wraps in the back of the fridge that were nearing their best-by date, and decided we’d better have them before they went to Jesus.

So this:

That’s real cheese, alas, because it’s a 30-minute drive each way to the nearest Daiya vegan cheese provider.

We heated these, then added lettuce. I also added pepper to mine.

OM nom nom!

I’m posting at Fatal Foodies today about a vegetarian antipasto salad.

( lay did on Charlie’s onions! Just a little pepper in mine. Extra lettuce, please. And mustard. Do you have any pickles?

Yes, I am a glutton! But I am a good one.

Must make some of my tuna salad soon. My mum used to put in little bits of thin cut celery. I never do, because celery is locally expensive, and must be used up quickly, and I like it with Cheese Whiz and peanut butter. And well, I had to increase my PB intake due to Diabetes, but cut way-ay-ay back on the Cheeze Whiz. But then it does not taste like it did when I was a kid, so no great loss.

Where are the like and other icons gone????

Pete, you nearly murdered me by talking about tuna, then not using celery, then “I like it with Cheese Whiz and peanut butter.” I’m like, “Tuna salad with CHEESE WHIZ AND PEANUT BUTTER??? So gross, I’m dying!” Then I realized you mean celery when you said “it”, and I recovered. Whew! That was a close one!

The Like should be there, but the Reaction icons started wanting me to pay them, so I showed them the door. Let me know if the Like button does or does not show back up, ‘kay?

NO, NO, NO!!! Celery is for Cheez Whiz and PB.
But you can make a tuna sandwich mix with a little smooth PB. It has a nice nutty flavour.

But as I noted, I am giving up Cheeze Whiz. And for mouse traps, the mice prefer PB only, so, there you go.

I see the like, finally. Sorry about losing the widgets.

Steffie once used a PB and Cheeze whiz mix to catch a Chinese Super-spy.

Oh, a sec. Email from The Queen.
Hum. Apparently, under The Official Secrerts Act

Mice like PB in Traps. Yes, Like is back.

I’m kinda crazy for any animal minced and mixed into mayo with crunchy fings. Truly.

Too soon, Joey. It’s WAY too soon after Halloween to say things like that….
