Two Books in the Pipeline #amwriting #CoverReveal

Okay, so I made a cover for the first book of the cozy humor Spadena Street Mysteries, BAR SINISTER, which T. Lee Harris, our art maven, instantly made 100% better! So that’ll be out Real Soon Now.

Juss — Injustice H. Chocolate (named and raised by hippies) — questions the usefulness of her Life Coach work and hires a secretary to prove its importance. Prim and efficient Kerry Dashingly can hardly wait to tell his wife that his latest secretary temp job is in a miniature castle in a neighborhood of Disneyesque architecture. Kerry hasn’t even begun when he gets a call from his hapless cousin: A man she openly hated is dead, and the police found an unspecified something in the back of her car. Juss immediate attaches herself to the problem, determined to help, even if it kills her.

Spadena Street is a two-block Storybook Style neighborhood with a past as corporate housing for privileged employees of a now-defunct factory. Some of its mysteries stem from that past, some result from the characters of the people who lived there or live there now, some touch the street through the networks of the current residents.

Meeka (aka wonderful author a.c.flory) requests more of SIDESHOW IN THE CENTER RING, so a collection of short stories set in that world goes into the top of the pipeline. Look out beloooowwwww!

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about a castle.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I like the cover. It sounds interesting. It also sounds like you’re pretty darn organized.

Dan, I’ve been scatterbrained all my life. My mother taught me many tricks for substituting method in place of the brains I never had. They mostly work.
