Striking for climate justice is not specifically on this list, but WikiHow has a pretty comprehensive list of Simple Ways to Help Save the Earth.

Please don’t tell me these suggestions are simplistic, naive, or too small to make a difference. If you read the list, you’ll see that some items are to join movements or put pressure on people who can make big changes.

Meanwhile, little changes can add up. Our little actions helped make this mess; our little actions can help mitigate and heal the damage.

I think people look around and think, “Why should I change my lifestyle when Bob over there is still chucking his trash on on the highway and Susan’s tossing her plastic straws into the ocean after weaving them into “kawaii” necklaces for the sea turtles?” Even if we aren’t big enough to HEAL the damage, if enough of us TRY, we can slow it – and maybe lead others by example till real change happens. Thanks for the resources, Marian.
