Coffee and #Nails #MondayRecommends

So Erik of the site Bean Poet commented the other day, and I follered him back to his site. It’s all about coffee! Me love coffee! Me the Cookie Monster of the coffee, me! Is brilliant, Erik’s site. Like, I learned that dark roast has a milder, less acidic taste than light or medium roast. Whoda thunk it?

Well, after Christmas, I was ready for understated nails. And yet. And yet.

My current mani is deceptively simple. It’s Live Love Polish’s Gray Potato (named after a good boi doggo). It’s temperature reactive, so it changes color as I change body heat. Nifty! I stamped silver stars on it with Maniology‘s So Metal stamping polish, using Maniology X Kelli Marissa BM-XL213 plate.

Cold
I’m warm, but the air on my nail tips is cooler.

How cool is that??? Way, that’s how!

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about beans. And/or stars. And/or dogs.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Good thing they aren’t mood nails! But, I loved the temperature effects.
Oh- and the Ink Spots sang the first jazz song I attempted to learn some 6 decades ago. (Then, it was Leroy Anderson- look him up!)

What do you mean, “Then, it was Leroy Anderson”? Do you mean YOU were Leroy Anderson back then, or you learned Leroy Anderson songs back then? If you wrote The Syncopated Clock, I’m even more impressed with you than I was before, and I didn’t think that was possible!

I know! I loaned the polish to Sara, and she says she keeps sticking her hands under the taps to make the color change. lol!

That’s groovy! Sassy was sorta obsessed with temperature changes when she had hers like that 😛
I actually really like that manicure — nice for NYE! Maybe I’ll send you a pic of mine 🙂 — You’ll get it tomorrow when it comes through! LOL

Thanks for the shoutout, Marian. As for your “write about beans” prompt, I think I’m covered. I write about beans in my sleep!
