I collect these random doors to share when I haven’t been to a door-rich venue. I took these back in the spring.

February 6, 2020 at 9:39amHi, Tammy! How you been? I wish I could deal with forums (fora?) I just can’t handle them. It’s like macrame to my brain.

February 6, 2020 at 7:36amIt’s always good to have a few doors socked away under the bed.

February 6, 2020 at 9:40amYes, it takes the pressure off. I have many socked doors in the CoryDoors and Driving Doors files, not to mention the Pictures of Doors folder.

The doormat thing is such an interesting detail to notice. I probably wouldn’t have seen it if you hadn’t pointed it out but yes: do you want it lined up symmetrical for appearance, or where people would actually be standing and better able to use it? Nicely done!

February 6, 2020 at 6:00pmI get what you mean about the door mat, Marian. That goes for rugs/mats just inside the door as well, although things sometimes tend to look a bit off when you put them where they’re actually needed.

February 7, 2020 at 3:21pmI wonder where people got that OCD gene for things being lined up and symmetrical? It isn’t like it’s particularly natural.
