CoryDoors Around and About #ThursdayDoors

I collect these random doors to share when I haven’t been to a door-rich venue. I took these back in the spring.

A garage door,a door door, a door or two on the hill, and a light for Joey.

Thursday Doors is the brainchild of Norm Frampton, photographer extraordinaire. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his direction, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about something or someone, usefully off-center, which or who has seen better days.

Hi, Tammy! How you been? I wish I could deal with forums (fora?) I just can’t handle them. It’s like macrame to my brain.

It’s always good to have a few doors socked away under the bed.

Yes, it takes the pressure off. I have many socked doors in the CoryDoors and Driving Doors files, not to mention the Pictures of Doors folder.

Saved doors, for a rainy day, so to speak. Gotta love it. 🙂

It’s good to have a few doors stored away in the bank.
The doormat thing is such an interesting detail to notice. I probably wouldn’t have seen it if you hadn’t pointed it out but yes: do you want it lined up symmetrical for appearance, or where people would actually be standing and better able to use it? Nicely done!

Every so often, I notice something piddly like that. I think it’s because I used to draw.

I get what you mean about the door mat, Marian. That goes for rugs/mats just inside the door as well, although things sometimes tend to look a bit off when you put them where they’re actually needed.

I wonder where people got that OCD gene for things being lined up and symmetrical? It isn’t like it’s particularly natural.

Daddy had a truck like that one in front of the garage. Green though, not primer pink. 😉

Many of us around here are belt-and-suspenders folks, with a mat outside and another one inside. 😀
