HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!
I had a really, really good day this week. Mommy only caught me prowling on her nail station once, and Poppy only got cross with me once for not getting out of his chair when he told me to.
It got cold, so Poppy built a fire in the fireplace. Tipper gets too hot, so I had the warm all to myself.
But the best thing is, Mommy got us some new litter! We love it when Mommy cleans out the litter box every night (Poppy never does), and we love it when she puts new litter in. But this was NEW new litter! She says she bought it from Chewy.com, and it’s called Dr. Elsey’s Multi-Cat Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter. She said to tell you she isn’t getting paid to lie and just say I said this. She just bought it and we turned out to love it.
We have the best Mommy! We have the best Poppy, too, but Mommy cleans the box.

May 17, 2020 at 9:03pmMoo has catbox duty until she graduates. All the children have taken turns with catbox duty since 2002. It makes up for all the things they don’t do with their dog(s), like bathe and brush and play and walk and feed her and keep water in her bloody buggery bowl. But whatever. So nice kitties like the new litter — I’ll check it out, 20 lbs for 12.99 is good.

May 20, 2020 at 6:54amThat’s a good plan. Cleaning water bowls — ugh! I’d rather clean the litter box than one of those slobbery bowls. But I have to do both, with the nest empty and all. shudders

May 20, 2020 at 7:42pmI’ll be right there with you in a few years 😉 I use an SOS pad on the bowls, do em all up at once. But I tell ya, I got an old Pyrex bowl for pet water in our en suite and I have to let vinegar sit in that thing. So much mineral in the water!
