The Good, The Bad, and The Tipper #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what!

I got out this week, but I only went to the edge of the porch, and I let Momma pick me up and bring me in. It smells funny out there.

Momma walked up the road, and she saw Juniper! Bemember Juniper, that tiny little baby cat Momma and Poppa helped raise on a bottle? Well, she lives outside now, because she’s not a good, precious cat like Chickie and me.

Juniper is more than a year old, now, but she’s still little bitty.

Momma said she called Juniper and said, “Bemember me?”

So Juniper came over to check it out.

Juniper sniffed Momma’s hand all over.

Then she patted Momma’s hand.

And then….

SMACK! GROWL! HISS! CLAWS OUT!

So Momma said, “Well, all right then! I’ll go!”

And stay off my lawn!

So Momma came home to where the good cat is.

Tipper is the good cat! What a pity about Juniper though. I wonder why she became so mean?

I don’t know! The family say she’s like that to everybody except the little boy, who is the only one who didn’t participate in bottle-feeding her.

That is so weird. Is it possible the formula somehow made her feel sick? i.e. aversion to anyone associated with feeling sick? Poor little thing. 🙁

She sure went for it at the time, but it’s a possibility, and it would make sense. I’m leaning toward “I’m big and independent and I don’t need anybody to baby me”. I mean, she’s even nasty to the DOG who adopted her when she was a baby, and is friends with the dog who never paid any attention to her.

What a face. And after all you did for her. Is “ungrateful cat” redundant?
