When Charlie Got Smart #1LinerWeds

Charlie and I were talking about our pasts, shaking our heads more in sorrow than in anger about things we know now that we wish we’d known then.

He gave me my one-liner for the week — maybe for all time:

“I always feel like I was an idiot until the day before yesterday.”

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What do you or what do various of your characters wish you’d known in the past that you or they know now?

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

That’s when doubts took hold. Socrates said that recognizing one’s ignorance is the beginning of wisdom, which is never achieved.

Exactly how to avoid something that just happened – that seemed to come out of the blue, but shouldn’t have been allowed. Now it can’t be UNdone or UNseen or UNfelt.

But the PLOT gets one step closer to its conclusion; who care is the characters hurt? They were stuck.
