Freyja Mehitabel Sechet

Is this fing on? Not used to these gomputers yet.

Hallo, hoomans. Freyja Mehitabel Seshet in da house—yes, in da house! Not long ago, I was the roughest, toughest, alleycat empress around, until some hoomans that call themselves archaeologists came along and I adopted one of them. Archaeologists are hoomans that play with measuring tapes all day and make big soft piles of dirt for cats to sit on.

Anyway, dis hooman archaeologist I adopted shared lots of lunches with me and then she adopted me back!

I didn’t like going in the little cage, but then we got in a thing with cold air and music that made a purring sound and took us past lots of new places very fast, and I liked that. Then we went to see some lady named Yvette, who was nice but poked me a lot and who wasn’t my hooman. Then we came to da house.

I like da house. There is always food here, and water that magically tastes like nothing—not like grit ‘n’ grime or chemical cocktail or bug goo or anyfing. It sounds gross that it hasn’t got a flavor, but it’s kinda good, and there is always lots in my bowl. And there is another hooman that is mine here, too.

So now I have a Mama and a Daddio. I like it best when they sit in my room with me. I make sure to rub my smell onto their legs a whole bunch so they remember they belong to me.

Daddio is the best at playing games like red dot and wrestle-grab.

I like to hold Mama’s paws when she’s close by so she doesn’t try to go off anyplace wifout me.

When I was the Empress of the Alleycats, I would follow Mama everywhere all day, but now she goes back to the nice soft piles of dirt in my alleyway wifout me! Don’t tell the other cats on the street, but I don’t mind so much. I like da house better because it’s got my hoomans in it, and also lots of windows for me to look out of, and Mama and Daddio won’t let any big loud things get me.

Bricks to sit.
Books to isspect.
De Empress.

She is lovely, wonky ear and all. I’m so glad she adopted her humans and is now helping to make their home happy. But I haven’t forgotten Tipper and Chickie. Are they looking after you? -hugs-

May I say that I love the fact that you took a friendless little person and allowed her to befriend you. You’re good people. -hugs-

Yes, they are. Tipper doesn’t know the difference, but Chickie has adopted me in her “Poppy”‘s absence. She says she’s going to post, maybe this coming Saturday. I think Freyja’s posting made her jealous.

Amazing what a little competition will do. Tell Chickie we miss her, and Tipper too. We want them back!
-whispers- I would love to see more of Freyja as well. Maybe don’t tell Chickie though.
I’m glad the small ones are looking after you, and I hope you’re looking after yourself too. -massive hugs-
