I figured out how to watch Netflix on my tv (Roku ftw). While browsing, I came across this show. You know how sometimes trailers play without your asking them to and it’s so annoying? I won’t get annoyed by that anymore, because I found this show.
RUSSIAN DOLL
OMG, seriously. Only eight episodes, but so rich I’ve watched it twice and will watch it again and again. The main character reminds me so much of my late friend, Jane, foul mouth and all. Jane didn’t smoke, though, and Nadia smokes like a boxful of chimneys. A boxful of foul-mouthed chimneys. Great show!
I’ve been doing my nails right along while I was on hiatus. Concentrating on nail art takes me away from the heartbreak.
Yeah, really into fluid art.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What insignificant thing do you or might you concentrate on to take yourself away from heartbreak for a few moments?

September 14, 2020 at 4:36pmIt’s not for everybody. I like the way the premise is handled: She doesn’t accept it; she immediately tries to figure out what happened and why and how she can change it. And she heals and becomes a better person in the process.
