Wimmin Only No Boyz Alloud #1LinerWednesday

#4’s Housemate is such a nice woman, and so much fun to be around! Sometimes she and #4 Daughter and I have supper together and/or watch a movie or television episode, and we always have a great time.

She said her grandmother, whenever there was a group of women getting along and enjoying one another’s company, would say, happily:

There’s a party in the henhouse!

#4 and I love that, and now we say it, too. 🙂

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

A sibling to “Nobody here but us chickens.”

Why is it that the fellows get the negative ones? “Hen-pecked”, “Cocky” and “The rooster may crow, but this hen lays the egg!”
