Another Painted Door #ThursdayDoors

Here is another picture I brought downstairs to freshen up the walls. Can you see the door? It’s there.

This was painted by a friend of ours named Martha Wagner. She constructed her images with a palette knife rather than brushes. I love it!

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

UPDATE: Dan is running a contest for a Thursday Doors badge. I’m submitting this:

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Write about someone using the wrong tool for a job and doing splendidly.

She was wonderful! We have several of her paintings. Charlie did repair and remodeling projects for her, and she paid him with paintings. We think we got the best of the bargain!

That’s a fabulous painting, I love the colours and how soft the greys are.

It’s probably my favorite of her paintings that we have. 🙂
