Boone Comes To Call #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what?

Chickie’s uncle/cousin/nephew/brother Boone figured out how to look in the back window! He climbs up on a ladder Poppa left on its side and watches telebision over Momma’s shoulder.

He tried to make friends when I caught him doing it.

But I wasn’t having it.

Momma took a video of Boone “talking”, but she doesn’t know how to put it on the blog, so you can’t see it. He moves his mouf like he’s chewing, but no sound comes out. It’s pretty funny.

He finally went away, but I bet he’ll be back. I’ll be ready for him, with hisses and growls and yowls. I don’t go down to his house and steal his hoomans’ telebision!

Chickie doesn’t pay him any attention, even though he’s family. She says we’re her family! She’s a pretty good sister.

We have enough animals here, thank you. One more animal and I might not make it into the Top-5 on the countdown.

You’re a good guard cat Tipper, but I wonder why Boone comes at all. You say he has his own humans, yet he’s outside in the cold. Could he be lonely?

Anyway, because Christmas is just days away, I’d like to wish you, Chickie, your Momma, and all your human sisters a safe Festive Season.

    Much love from

Thank you for the good wishes, and all of us return the same to all of you.

Boone is surrounded by mother, aunt, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews (#1 Daughter finally caught them all and had them neutered). He can go in and out of the house at will, and Charlie and #1 Daughter built a heated cat shed with cushy beds. He has absolutely no reason for mooching around our house; he just wants to. #1 Daughter is baffled; she says he’s not a notably social cat, although totally good-natured. I dunno. Time may tell.

Oh my god. #1 Daughter’s place sounds like another friend on mine who has a large indoor ‘family’ as well as an even larger outdoor family. Patricia’s made a shelter on her porch for the outdoor cats. Must say the heated cat shed sounds like luxury accommodation!
As for Boone…maybe he wants to adopt you? lol Or maybe he just likes giving Tipper a hard time. 🙂

I think your second supposition is probably on target. 😀

#1 Daughter has heated cat houses all across her porch, but she and her dad built the shed so the cats could cuddle instead of being in separate accommodations. #2 Daughter has heat lamps in her abandoned chicken house for some of the cats, and has retro-fitted a shed with heated houses inside and a heat lamp for more.

-grin- I LOVE how your family cares for cats. No, I love how they care, full stop. I’m sure at least some of those furkids would not make it through your winter without the kindness of your daughters and their families. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks for rekindling my faith in human nature.

I wish I could’ve uploaded the video. Boone’s “chew” thing is adorable!
