Clever Chickie #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

I played a trick on Mommy last night, and it worked!

Sometimes Tipper and I lick too much fur off ourselves, and cough and cough until it comes out. Mommy doesn’t like cleaning up wet hair out of our stomachs; I don’t know why.

Mommy got this medicine that she gives us when we’re trying to “hack up a hairball”, as Mommy calls it.

Tipper hates it, but I love it! I love it a lot.

So last night, I decided I wanted some. I waited until Mommy was almost asleep, then I started coughing and coughing.

Mommy sat up and petted me until I stopped.

When she was almost asleep again, I coughed and coughed and coughed.

This time, she sat up and turned on the light. So I sat up and stared at the medicine and licked my chops. My amazing mind trick worked, and she gave me some of the medicine! I might try that trick again.

Mostly, I’ve been helping, though.

I monitor her telebision so she doesn’t watch anything too scary.

I help Tipper guard the house.

And at night, before I make Mommy go to bed, I help her brush her teef.

Mommy says I’m a clever girl. I think so, too.

Good girl, Chickie. Do you ever drink from the faucet while mom’s brushing her teeth? One of our cats loved to do that.

She doesn’t, because I turn off the water while I’m brushing my teeth. When the water’s on, I’m using it and there isn’t room for her to grab a drink. šŸ˜€

My boys get something similar when they have hairball problems, but they don’t like it at all. I have to smoosh it on their paws. Then they give me dirty looks as they lick it off. Ah well, that’s what mothers are for. I wish my kids were as clever as you, Chickie.

That’s what I have to do to Tipper. Maybe it’s a boy thing, because Mom’s girl cat, Sweetie Pie, loved it, too.

Hmm…it’s possible. I can’t remember having to give Pippi catalax, despite the fact that she was a med. long hair fluff ball, but the boys definitely do not like it.

My Clara likes to help with the brushing of teef, too. And she cries for me to leave the faucet on. Sometimes she gets confused and tries to help me brush in the morning, but there’s a hot stick and I yell to her.
I love how there are teef puncture marks on the hairball remedy! LOL

Charlie used to tell her, “It’s a good thing you’re cute; it’s the only thing that saves you.” lol
