If you’re thinking about Paul Simon’s song, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, I congratulate you. That’s an earworm worth cultivating.
But that’s not what I’m recommending.
This week, I learned a new word, thanks to Ally Bean, who should have been doing her homework:
The word is Apricity [Merriam-Webster] and it means the warmth of the sun in the winter.

But that isn’t what I’m recommending, either.
I don’t know about where you are, but where I are am, it freezing rained and snowed and snowed some more and snowed some more and melted a little and froze. So walking was, I was told, treacherous.
Years ago, my late bestie, Jane, gave me some things called Yaktrax, which fit over one’s shoes and provide traction. Since #4 Daughter (The Amazing Sara Marian) visits me just about every evening and goes home after dark, I gave them to her. They always worked for me, and they work for her.
