Busy, Busy Chickie #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

I’ve been very, very busy the past two weeks. Mommy takes a lot of looking after, and I’ve been doing everyfing I can. Tipper helps, sometimes.

Tipper: She was MY momma first!

And now she’s MY mommy, too!

She’s working on something called “taxes”, and it makes her all discombobulated, so I help her.

Her office is awful messy! I keep reminding her she needs to clean it up, but she just tells me to get off the counter.

Books, me, Coconut Fluff, nail polish, Poppy’s red flannel shirt for her to love on.

Sometimes Mommy gets in the car and takes it someplace, and I watch out the high window to make sure she doesn’t back over the ridge.

Sometimes she goes out on the front porch, and Tipper and I watch out the front window to make sure she doesn’t vanish.

Poppy askidentally poked a hole in the siding with the broom.

Sometimes Tipper and I play, and sometimes we fight, but sometimes we sit on the same chair and be peaceful.

Tipper: Tell them about your joke.

Oh, yeah! Mommy and #4 Hooman Sister thought this was really funny. Look! I don’t have a head or a tail! I’m just a catloaf!

Hee hee hee! Those are #4’s coat and shoes. I like her, even though she picks me up and loves on me and tisses my head instead of letting me be impe– imbe– Help me, Tipper!

Tipper: Independent.

Yeah, that.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you like to be picked up and loved on and tissed on the head, mwah mwah mwah?

The dog ate my homework might never work, but “the cat messed up my taxes” should be grounds for an extension.

Catloaf! Love it. Have to say though, the photo of you and Tipper sitting at the window looking sad made me want to hug both of you. You’re good cats, both of you, and you’re doing a great job of looking after your Mum. -huge hugs-

They do take good care of me, and their little faces looking out of the window make me sad and happy at the same time. (They are squirming and saying they don’t like to be hugged, but they’re purring up a storm!)

lmao – oh yes, cats like their independence, except when /they/ want a cuddle. They are very good little mind readers though. Mine give me companionship and comfort when I need it, and let me do my own thing when I don’t. Except for the rituals though. I don’t know how they all started, but we do a morning pee-walk-look-at-the-garden, a nighttime one, and a group cuddle in front of the fireplace [on or off] before we call it a night. Heaven help me if I try to change these rituals. lol

I hear you! If I don’t go to bed when Chickie thinks it’s time, she gives me the stink-eye until I give up and go.
