Chickie Seats, Old And New #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Bemember when my Poppy was alive, and I used to sit with him like this?

I was thinking about that the other day, and I tried it again.

It wasn’t the same, but I liked it ’cause it meminded me of Poppy. Mommy liked it, too.

#4 Hooman Sister brought a box down, and I liked it, so she left it for me. I haven’t sat in it since the night she brought it.

I used to try to get on Mommy’s desk, but she sprayed me with water and I stopped. But she put the spray bottle somewhere and forgot where she put it, so I won!

The next thing I knew, I was sitting in Mommy’s lap! I never did that before! And I liked it!

Mommy took a moobie of me drinking out of the faucet.

And that’s it!

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Where do you like to sit? Did you sit anyplace new lately?

Apparently, faucet water is beyond compare. Especially if the medicine cabinet light shines brightly on the flow AND I’m trying to brush my teeth.

i’m really glad you’re letting her drink from the faucet. Is nice bonding time. Chickie surely has a sad and running water is so belicious, can help.

<3 I has a sad, too, and spoiling Charlie’s cat (as he did!) does me many goods.

You two girls have had a busy day. Re the desk, I’ve got two next to each other. One has my stuff on it. The other one has the printer and a nice thick, soft bed for Golli. Now he only comes over to…help me once or twice a day. Capitulation is the name of the game. 🙂

I have a nice little nest for Chickie, but that’s no fun, because she’s allowed there.

-sigh- yes, that’s the fly in our ointment. Does Tipper try to help you work as well? My guys used to compete for ‘the bed’ so it had a certain, cache .;)

Tipper used to help me work. He would jump up in my lap and turn over on his back and want me to hold him like a baby. Made it very difficult to type. He hasn’t done that in a long time, though. Now he just waits until I’m sitting on the couch. Maybe my desk lap is too high for him, now that he’s a big, grown cat.

lol – you could be right about the ‘big, grown cat’ thing. Golli still tries but can’t find a comfortable enough spot any more.
