CoryDoors – Around And About Once More #ThursdayDoors

I’ve had my shots (makes me sound like Old Yeller, doesn’t it?) and now I’m not afeared to go into stores. I drove about a bit and took some pictures before I indulged in my favorite activity out of the house: grocery shopping.

Being in the presence of All The Things made me so giddy, I bought things I wouldn’t have thought of looking up online. It was worth the expense to see the happy on #4 Daughter’s face when she came to visit and I asked, “Would you like some mozzerella sticks?” (Her favorite snackie.) and she scoffed, “You don’t have any mozzarella sticks.” and I said, “Oh, yes, I do!”

ANYWAY, here are pictures I took on my perambulations.

Craftsman style architecture. I call this house Bricky McBrick.
By ghod, I KNOW there’s a door in there somewhere!
Tiny, but big enough to have two doors and an address.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Is there any kind of store that makes you giddy? Mine are groceries and hardware/home improvement stores.

I’m glad you got your jabs and are back on the prowl. I like that house with the off little turret thingie stuck on it. That would be a fun place go write.

It’s actually even bigger! There’s a two-story back bit, but it’s clad in stone that in no way complements the yellow siding. I don’t know what they were thinking!

That second house looks interesting with its turret. You even found a tiny house, yayyyy. The mozzarella sticks sound yummy.

I enjoyed the results of your perambulations, Marian. Nice to be out and about, isn’t it? I’m gearing up for a couple of road trips once I get the taxes done. Hurrah for an extra month as well.

I’m nearing completion of my taxes. My Spring Resolution is always to stay on top of the document all year, but I always break it.

Wow, you are free to roam around the neighborhood. I’d be jealous except I’m not that kind of person. I have yet to rate a place in line to be jabbed. Soon I am hoping…

I don’t know what’s up with Indiana, but we’re inoculating 16 and up. Maybe we converted all our meth labs to produce vaccine.

It’s difficult, because I’m a homebody. When the lockdown came, Charlie and I barely noticed, since we’d both rather be home than anywhere else. Thursday Doors is good for me, in that it encourages me to go out and about. 🙂
