Dinner By A Thousand Cuts #MondayRecommends #Nails

I used to have very dull knives. Seldom did a week go by without a dull knife slipping and giving me a cut or, if it was very dull, a long, thin bruise.

Then my late bestie, Jane, gave me a set of Emeril knives, very sharp. Also: I found a Farberware Ultra Sharp Pro Knife Sharpener stuck in the back of a kitchen drawer.

I don’t believe I’ve cut myself — on a knife — since. Paper, yes. BREAD CRUST, yes. But knife, no.

So here are my darlings.

Those are the three knives that came in the set, plus my old faithful vegetable knife, which I’ve had for over 40 years, but still takes an edge like a pro. I think it was called some kind of Granny knife. The Emeril knives came in a wooden box with a cutting board top, but Charlie decided that took up too much space and chopped it up for kindling. Whatevs.

It’s SPRING, my sweet little baby angels! So here are my spring nails this week.

Pink base coat, with blue and yellow dry’brushed over, and Maniology plate stamped over it in white.

Silly me, I looked up “Maniology” thinking it might be some weird science.
