Perfect #1LinerWeds

This post is different from any of my other one-liner Wednesday posts, in that it’s embeded in a video.

Y’all know I’m crazy-go-nuts about the show Supernatural. Well, one of the best things about the show is that the people who work on the show are AMAZING people.

One of those amazing people is Misha Collins, who is not only an actor and a carpenter, but also a poet. My one-liner for you today is the last line of Mr. Collins’ poem, which heals my heart of all that ails it.

This post is part of Linda G. Hill’s weekly blog hop, One-Liner Wednesday. If you have a one-liner or just like them, follow the link.

A WRITING POST FROM ME TO YOU: What would you wish for?

I’ve been wishing for something else, too. But the only way for me to keep on keeping on, as this poem reminds me, is to do what Charlie always counseled: live in THIS moment. I know I say that from a position of privilege, but I have to stop wishing I had the inestimable treasure I’ve lost. I appreciated what I had while I had it, and I’m a fool to fail to appreciate what I have now. HUGS

I LOVE that poem!! It choked me up, and really hit home because I just got home from spending 5 days with my grandsons and we had lots of lovely little moments that made some of my wishes come true.

I know what you mean. Such a simple little line, but so much wisdom in it. <3
