Tipper Finds His OWN Toys #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

Hi, there! I’m Tipper Allen, and guess what? I found two toys this week, and Chickie didn’t get them away from me!

First, I snuck onto Momma’s Nails Day Shun–

Momma: Nail station. It’s my nail station. Where I do my nails.

ANYWAY, I go up there and found a playbaby!

Momma: It was a floofy brush, powder or glitter, for the application of.

It was a wonderful playbaby!

OF COURSE, Chickie had to stick her nose in!

Whatcha got?

After I finished playing with it, Momma took it and put it away for me, so Chickie couldn’t rob it.

Momma: So I can use it, if I can clean the cat spit off of it. Lucky I hadn’t used it yet, or you’d be…. Well, let’s just say your litterbox would have been magnificent to see.

So then, so then, so then, I found a fevver that Chickie tore off the scratching board. I love fevvers. They’re the sweetest playbabies! I lick them and groom them and make them happy.

Is Chickie over there?
Is she over THERE?
Is she outside?
The fevverbaby is mine!

In other news, our niece, Freyja, #4 Hooman Sister’s cat, had three teef removed. She was an alley cat before she adopted #4, and the vet said somebody or something had hurted the side of her face some time back. So some of her teef were hurted, and she had to get three of them removed. So Momma went down to check on her a couple of times the day after she came home, because #4 Hooman Sister had to go to work. Momma took some pictures of Freyja.

Hiding in her cave under the bed.
Out but away from Momma.
Okay, Momma is good.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you hide until you decide somebody is safe, or do you jump out and make friends right away?

You were very clever to find such interesting toys for yourself, Tipper, but…maybe the floofy baby should stay with your Momma. You don’t want to mess with your poops. I wonder if your Momma would consider giving you a floofy baby just for you? You know, one that won’t do funny things to your poops.

Oh poor Freyja. In that first photo you can see how one side of her poor mouth is swollen. I hope she gets better quickly. -hugs-

The left side of her face is the one that endured blunt force trauma before Sara’s job took her to the abandoned housing project where Freyja lived in the rubble. We don’t know if she glanced off a car, or fell wrong, or got hit with a brick, or what. It gives her a little sneer that is very tough-looking and very endearing. She also has the top of one ear cut off, which is how the Catch-Neuter-Release people tell which cats they don’t need to catch again.

Oh! Poor little thing. I thought that was just from the dentistry. #4 is an angel to give such a sad little survivor a home. Just catching her must have been hard, gaining her trust even harder. πŸ™

Actually, it wasn’t! Sara said the minute the crew walked onto the site, this scrawny cat was rubbing on her ankles. If the rest of the crew got there first, they said the cat would walk around searching until Sara got there. One of the other feral cats hissed at Sara, and this cat got between them and gave the hissing cat holy hell. Freyja definitely adopted Sara! Sara said, “How could I not take her home?” The crew either adopted or got homes for about half a dozen of the ferals, any ones who became socialized. The rest had to be left to the Alley Cat Advocates to care for in the wild.

Oh…that is fate. And what a special relationship. Hugs to them both.

Hi Tipper. I hope you didn’t think I hit “Like” and split. Our dog had to go out (they don’t use a litter box) and then we went for a walk. Brushes are great toys. MiMi is the queen of brush toys. We can’t leave any kind of brush out where she can get it. Tell Freyja we’ll be thinking about her and wishing her a quick recovery.

Freyja says thank you. Sara says Freyja has been super extra happy and lovey since she recovered. It’s as if she knows Sara did something to make her feel better.

Sara says Freyja obviously feels MUCH better. Dollar Store brushes sounds like a great idea! Of course, if I give them to him, he probably won’t want them. Cats! lol

You don’t. You pretend to use it, ‘accidentally’ leave it out on your dresser, etc.

At least they’re not likely to get actually eaten.

Let me know if it works. Cats are street-smart – know when they’re being conned.

Silly things – you’re trying to CATer to them. πŸ™‚
