About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Love your prompts! Are you doing storyaday this year?
My favorite color is orange but it tends to rotate. As a writer I get stuck on certain colors related to objects. Like a yellow umbrella for instance!!

Glad you like the prompts! I’m not committing to StoryaDay this year. If I do it, I do it, but I never know when depression is going to overwhelm me, and I no longer have my bottomless well of joy by my side. I’m hoping I feel like doing it; it might be good for me. Are you doing it?

I am sorry the depression is lurking in the shadows for you my friend. I am doing the challenge. I always enjoy the prompts and the community even though I am a bit more removed from it then I used to be!

I enjoy reading other people’s stories. I hope I can still do that. 🙂

Me, too! I read a science fiction short story (one of the few Charlie loved!) about a spaceman marooned on a planet with no green, who used up all his laser gun’s power because it flashed green, and he HAD to see green sometimes!
