Chickie Goes Fishin’ #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

My #4 Hooman Sister got a toy for her cat and her cat didn’t like it so she gave it to me and Mommy turned it on and it flippy-flopped around and guess what?

I LIKED IT!

Also, we had a visitor in the back, but Tipper didn’t see it, so he didn’t get upset.

Groundhog or woodchuck or whistle pig.

These photos made me smile today! Thank you for sharing. Kitties hold their own magic don’t they?

I got the same toy for my cat. She doesn’t like it when it moves around, but loves playing with it when it’s not.

Tipper just ignores it, so far. Chickie will undoubtedly get tired of it soon, unless Tipper takes an interest. Then she’ll steal it and hide it.

That fish looks like so much fun, Chickie. You’re a very lucky girl. Freya doesn’t know what she’s missing. That furry thing at the backdoor is kind of a worry though. Do they bite?

I’m pretty sure Mr. Furry would bite and claw if cornered. That’s one reason I don’t let my cats outside. #1 Daughter’s and #2 Daughter’s outdoor cats grew up outdoors and there are lots of them, so they’re canny and “well protected”, as West Side Story puts it. Mine would be babes in the wood. If you’re worried about me, don’t be: critters generally have enough sense to run away when they see hoomans.

We have snakes [rare] and foxes [common], but Mogi [dog] makes so much noise when a fox comes to visit that neither of the boys is in any danger. lol Or Mogi herself – big on bark but only from a distance! Thank goodness we don’t have critters like Mr Furry to worry about.

Oh, groundhogs are very mild-mannered. Any animal will get fierce if threatened. Fair enough, I say.

Oh? Is that what Mr Furry is? lol I know of the movie but I’ve never seen a real one before.
