Chickie Tries It Out #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

I tried some new fings this week. Tipper says yoga keeps him young. He’s a way-old 5 hooman years! So I did some, too.

Outward Facing Belly

I let Mommy pick me up and hold me like a baby for three hours!

Mommy: It was a scant five minutes.

“Ascant” means “multiplied by a whole bunch that equals three hours”. I kind of like it, especially since she put me down when I wanted down. As long as she knows who’s boss.

Mommy: I do. Do you?

ANYWAY, I’ll maybe let her do that again sometime.

She still lets me drink out of the bafroom faucet. It’s my favorite thing EVER! She tried to get a picture of my tongue lapping the water, but I’m too fast for her! Hahahahaha!

Quick-tongue McFaucet

I’ve been so very very good, Mommy gave me some fish juice! Tipper won’t eat it, so I get it all!

Mommy wrung out a toona for me!

It’s been a good week, even though Tipper got lonely in the night and slapped me until I got up and romped. Again! How am I apposed to help Mommy sleep if I’m up romping?

Mommy: Good question.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: Do you romp in the night?

That’s a pretty good picture of you drinking at the faucet. I can imagine the Lapp sounds.

My nephew’s cat Francis would only drink fresh running tap water. DESPITE having a full bowel all the time!

…I’m assuming you meant “having a full BOWL all the time,” although I could be wrong. That cat would be a thirsty cat, if he were my cat. Although, I just might have bought him one of those cat fountains. I’m toying with the idea for Chickie.

I don’t know what it is with cats and water. I have water bowls set up all over the place, inside and out, but what they like the most is to lick the outdoor tiles after I do watering, or it rains. What’s worse, Golli and Harry have taught Mogi [dog] to do the same. -pulls hair in frustration-

Oh! Not at you Chickie. You’re a good girl…

That is so weird. Yeah, because licking water off the tiles is so much better than drinking it from a bowl….

I’ve come to the conclusion that all our animals are…odd. Mogi the dog has OCD, and no, I’m not joking, and the two boyz have their own quirks. It must be something in the water. πŸ˜‰
