I’ve subscribed to the Environmental and Energy Study Group‘s newsletters, which concentrates on proposed and working solutions to the climate crisis. It’s heartening.
Take this article, for example: Dirty Dozen: Biden Remakes Government in Climate Effort, Here’s how 12 top federal agencies are joining the fight against climate change, by Sydney O’Shaughnessy. Government agencies, cooperating and coordinating? Oh, my heart!
Naturally, my favorite is NASA.
“Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing us today,” Schmidt [Senior Climate Adviser Gavin Schmidt] said in a statement. “Given our unique ability to observe the planet from space and the long-term data records we’ve been able to assemble, NASA is in a prime position to inform policy decisions in the current administration and beyond.”

That article was originally published on Callaway Climate Insights, so OF COURSE I went down that rabbit hole.
