Chickie Objects #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

The deer cat made me really mad this week. She was out by the playhouse, not very far from the porch.

Mommy was hanging out the laundry, and that lazy deer just kept on eating! She didn’t even offer to help Mommy! Tipper and I stood at the screen door and yelled that we would help, if Mommy would let us out, but Mommy likes to show us she can take care of herself. That lazy deer could have held the clothespins for her, though!

I got a new toy! I gave it to myself, like I get all my best toys.

Mommy said, “What have you got?”

I don’t know what it is, but it’s MINE!

Mommy said it was her lanyard from Imaginarium convention, but it looks like a cat toy to me. So it is.

TIPPER: Then she poked holes in Momma!

It was a askident! I wouldn’t poke holes in Mommy a-purpous!

She was brushing her teef and I was prowling on the counter, and I went to cross the sink under her mouf and she put out her arm to stop me and it startled me and I jumped … and askidentally poked holes in her. She goddamnited, but she wasn’t mad at me. Tipper’s just trying to get me in trouble so everybody will think he’s the good one and I’m a bad one.

I gib you the stink-eye.

Ouch – those holes look painful. I’m sure she’s sorry.

Oh Chickie! You’ll have to be a bit more careful next time. Golli sometimes bites me and I know it can really hurt. Golli isn’t a bad boy. He had a car accident when he was only one year old and now his brain doesn’t always work exactly right. The teeth do hurt though. :/

Poor Golli! And poor Meeka! Be sure to wash those bits really well. My mother got cellulitis from an accidental scratch one of her cats gave her.

Gah…thanks for the warning. I do wash any open wound immediately, plus I put iodine on it, but it pays to be careful. A friend gets cellulitis and the thought of getting it myself is horrifying.

Watch out, Chickie – next time, Mommy will brush YOUR teef. That’ll teach you!
