For, you know, a given value of “naughty”.
Sara is showing me the Marvel movies, so I had to subscribe to Disney+. I’ve been hearing big buzz about Disney’s LOKI series, so I watched it. Sara had told me not to watch it until we had finished all the Marvel movies, but I forgotted. My bad!
So what did I think of the series? I FUCKIN’ LOVED IT, THAT’S WHAT! Wild, freaky premise, oddly set in a world that’s weirdly reminiscent of the film BRAZIL.
Even better is the character premise: People have consistently told Loki that he’s perceptive about everybody but himself. Tricksters have to be able to read people intimately and deeply in order to know how best to trick them. I can’t say much more than that without dropping spoilers, but the series makes a brilliant use of that.
I had to do Responsible Adulting this week, so my manicure is as subtle as I could bear:
My accent nail (ring finger) is painted with Sinful Colors’ Coffee Drip and stamped with Maniology’s Latte. My other fingers are painted with Maniology’s Latte and stamped with Maniology’s Annato Clay. The stamping plate is Maniology’s Chic Peek BM-XL476.
And remember, if you buy from Maniology:
