This Is Another Fine Rabbit Hole You’ve Gotten Us Into #MondayRecommends #NailArt

I love it and I hate it when I run across a web site that could consume an almost boundless amount of time. I found one this week, and I’m sharing it with you. #SorryNotSorry.

It’s The Phrase Finder. Although it’s out of the United Kingdom, it has a link to American Expressions. Help me! Stop me from browsing that site!

What’s that? Oh, show you my nails? Good distraction — thanks!

An attempt at class this week:

Base coat on thumb and stamping color: Maniology’s Fireside. Base coat on other fingers: About two hunnert coats of L.A. Colors Color Craze’s 37(something — the label is obscured): It’s sheer, but it was exactly the color I wanted, so I kept at it — actually four or five coats. Top coats: Sally Hanson’s Insta-Dri in the red bottle for the shine on the thumb and Cuticula’s Sugar Coated Cloud Cover Matte for the other fingers. The stamping plate was Born Pretty’s Valentine’s Day BP-L001

And remember: If you buy from Maniology, use my code for a 10% discount.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Look up a phrase on That Site and use it as a prompt.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

    Sally Hansen! That’s a name I hadn’t heard in a decade or two…
Glad you tore yourself away from the site to share your nails.

They’ve always carried Sally Hansen back here in the boondocks, but I hadn’t paid any attention until I started the nail art, and Sally Hansen was repeatedly mentioned as making good nail polish for base coats and EXCELLENT quick-dry top coats. The site is addictive. 😀

From the middle of Scene 34.6:

“But not strongly enough…” She pointed. “And Akiiya would have been able, despite being a soldier, to use the technology and turn it against her bosses.”
    “So what did you do?”
“Let my brain frolic. And I’ve had more fun! Keith said I don’t have to understand how—simply postulate what, and then imagine how it affects high tech societies and primitives, and I’ve been down so many rabbit holes I’m encrusted with dirt.”

The whole trilogy; it’s the 14th chapter of the second book – ‘rabbit hole’ made me remember.

Just teasing you – not published anywhere yet.
