Here are some more doors from Hopkinsville, Kentucky courtesy of my archeologist/author daughter, the amazing Sara Marian. On the previous Thursdays, I’ve shared some pictures of beautiful Hopkinsville. Most of these are more colorful than elegant.
This first one, though, is lovely, and has something of interest to Dan, reflected in the upper window closest to the utility pole. Also: street light for Joey.
Apparently, people in Hopkinsville aren’t shy about letting their feelings show.
Or letting you know when you REALLY aren’t wanted.
But there’s a theater.
And it has a restaurant and lounge. Or did.

I lived in Franklin, Indiana for about three years as a kid, and we went to the one downtown I think maybe every week or every other, I really think almost every week. Red velvet curtains, yellow popcorn, sweet Rasinets, lots of laughs. Fond memories.

October 29, 2021 at 11:49amNice! I lived in the West End of Louisville, Kentucky, but Louisville is just a collection of small “towns”, like Germantown, Smoketown, Portland, etc. Long story short, we had a “town” theater we went to just about every week.
