CoryDoors Almost A Car Show #ThursdayDoors

One of my cousins called to tell me she would have her vintage car at a vintage car show on the Square at Corydon, and invited me to come see her there. I never — well, hardly ever — go anywhere I don’t HAVE to go, so I thought it would be good for me.

It was a beautiful day for a doorscursion, although it was hard to get a picture without CARS in the way (obvs). I managed a few, though.

Here’s the back of that skinny barber shop (the shop is skinny; I’ve never seen the barber, that I know of). Landing door! Also the front door of the shop across the street, and a light for Joey.

Here’s a ghost door up where anybody going through it would have to be a ghost or might very well become one.

Here’s the back porch of a shop on the Square.

And here’s the front. The truck says Antique Mall and Flea Emporium.

This is the only car I took a picture of. I was like, “Vintage?” Oh, yeah … BACK TO THE FUTURE was long enough ago that a slightly futuristic car THEN would be vintage NOW.

We had a great visit on a beautiful breezy day.

Another day, I went to the Walgreens in New Salisbury for my Pfizer booster shot. I’d never been there before, but the staff were all SO NICE and the shot didn’t hurt at all — and this is from a shot wimp.

ANYWAY, I took a picture of this door on the side of the building.

For why? For because of this detail:

I have no idea what the S stands for, unless that’s the door Superman uses.

Lots of side doors today (even the one you claim was the back door of the barber’s)… Maybe the S was for sybarite- which would be found in the interior decor…

The back door of the barber’s was the back door of the barber’s. I don’t deal in Alternative Facts of Fake Portals. And S might have been for sybarite, but, Frankly, the Walgreens decor let me down in that context. 😀

A god collection of doors, including Superman’s special entrance.
