Holly Jahangiri (The Real One) #MondayRecommends #NailArt

If you’re a blogger, a writer, or a human being, you need to follow the blog of Holly Jahangiri (the real one). She gives the best advice, the best instruction, the best laughs, and the best stories. I’m not just saying that because she lets me write stories about her alter ego, a Living Library Librarian on the planet Llannonn, although that’s a fact.

Srsly, she’s THE BEST! You’re welcome.

My nails this week are fallish again, o’course.

The gray basecoat is Maniology’s Grey Joy, the gold basecoat and gold stamping polish is Hit the Bottle’s Divinely Decadent, the black stamping polish is Maniology’s Straight Up Black, and the matte topcoat is Cuticula’s Sugar Coated Cloud Cover. I picked up the leaf outline and painted in the gold. Then I painted Sally Hansen’s Instant-Dry topcoat (in the red bottle) over the leaf so it would be shiny while everything else was matte. The stamping plate was Maniology 164, one pattern for the black stamping and another for the gold.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: Would you let somebody base a character on you? Why or why not?

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

I do NOT know why your name is crossed out. There’s no reason why. There is no Strikethrough on it. Is your name always struck through when I add (the real one)? Is it the parenthetical phrase? Or is just the ones and zeros messing with my head?

I have no clue! Try adding /2020 at the end of the url. It may not like redirects.

That’s bizarre! I’ve had links look like that due to the broken link checker plug-in. If that’s the cause, it SHOULD reset styling in its own next time it checks the link, or you can do it manually through the plug in where you review the links. I think there’s also a setting to stop it from changing the style visibly at all.

If that’s NOT the cause, I’m baffled.
