How To Clean A Carpet #1LinerWeds

Chickie went through a pretty hairy time this month, but I hope she’s relieved herself of all residual intestinal furriness, and that the new food will work, now that she’s used to it.

I told Sara:

By my calculations, if Chickie throws up three more times, I’ll have cleaned the entire downstairs carpeting.

Commiserations! Because Mogi and the cats tend to live in my office, I had to tear up the wall-to-wall carpet and lay down carpet squares instead. They looked ugly but when one square was, um, used, I could simply pick it up and take it outside for thorough cleaning [and airing]. I now only have a few tiles lining the edges of my office. Eucalyptus oil and bi-carb are very effective, but they can’t work miracles. -glares at the dog-

What? Doesn’t always throw up in one or two favorite places? That’s what I would have expected. This helpfulness is UNexpected.

My beasties won’t eat anything except their cat food. They still like tuna juice and salmon juice, but that’s it. No nasty hooman food for them! And, being indoor cats, these two don’t have the chance to add a bit of mouse for variety, assuming they would stoop so low as to eat prey.
