The Trouble With Mascots #1LinerWeds

#4 Daughter (the amazing Sara Marian) and I got onto the subject of sports mascots. You know, the ones where people put on bulky costumes and dance around on the sidelines. We agreed we think they’re just creepy.

I said, “There could be anybody in there.”

And Sara said:

“There could be a clown in there.”

‘Nuff said.

    There are full-ride scholarships given to the kids who play the mascots as well as the cheerleaders. Nothing creepy about that.
