I’m still lumpy and bumpy as my body struggles to reabsorb the PBF (Precious Bodily Fluids) running rampant under my skin. I never knew I was so juicy. I’m glad I decided against reconstructive surgery, because enough is enough, amIright? Falsies FTW.

ANYWAY, what with the pandemic and All The Things on top of my native homebodiness, I’m less inclined to go out than ever. My excuse used to be, “I don’t feel like putting on going-out clothes and real shoes.”

Sunday, Sara invited me to her house to hang with a couple of her work buddies, but I declined, using my new excuse:

I don’t feel like putting on my boob.

A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: What’s your excuse, when you don’t feel like going out?

I am glad you retained your sense of humor. I guess we know where itโ€™s not located.

Glue it into the correct side? Velcro? What a stupid problem to have to have after all your other real problems – balancing weight and the probability of something shifting – one doesn’t have that many bras. Or maybe I should speak for myself – I wear pjs all day most days. No one sees me but my keyboard.

This is probably too much information but…I only wear a bra when I absolutely have to go out somewhere. They’re uncomfortable, stupid contraptions that should have been replaced by something better long ago. <>

I’ve taken to wearing pj bottoms and t-shirts unless I have to go out. As for placement, I have a mastectomy bra and two mastectomy camisoles; they have pockets in them where I can tuck my fiberfill forms. The two sides don’t match, but nobody ever looks at old lady boobs anyway, so I don’t care.

What’s important is that you’re okay. Just accept that you’re an Amazon. Now to take up archery when you’re completely okay.

That’s the BEST excuse, eveeeeeer. ๐Ÿ˜€ Laughter aside though, getting used to your new body will take a little time so just go with the flow until you feel like you /want/ to get out there again. -hugs-

ROFL!!! I’m torn between TMI!! and just cracking up! I hope you put it on along with real shoes and get out though. It does perk you up and you’ll feel all the better for it. I need to take my own advice today! I’ve been inside for two days due to the weather. I have put on my face though these last two days. I need to get out today even if it’s just to the grocery store. ๐Ÿ˜€

I went to the grocery this past Tuesday. It’s been two months since I went anywhere but doctors’ offices and the surgery, so I was pretty stoked. I even drove myself! lol
