Chickie Is Still a Helper Girl #Caturday #TipperAndChickie

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Mommy almost got another girl cat, but she didn’t. Whew! A friend of #4 Hooman Sister said there was a little tortoiseshell cat hanging around, and she was very lovey, and did anybody know anybody who wanted a tortoiseshell cat. #4 Hooman Sister said Mommy would, and Mommy said yes, but it looks like somebody else took the kitty in, so I’m safe. I want to be the only helper girl!

Tipper likes kittens, so he was sad when we didn’t get a sister, but I was glad.

Who needs another girl when there’s me? I’ve been super helpful!

I helped Mommy do her taxes.

I checked Mommy’s wild mushroom bags to make sure she didn’t miss any.

And I found this monster and killed it. Mommy says it’s a tribble, and I must be aklingon. She says she always suspected it. Aklingon must be another word for a helper girl, because that’s what I am!

Mommy: That’s a Klingon, Chickie. I said you must be a Klingon.

That’s what I said!

So paws crossed that the tortoiseshell cat has a good home that isn’t mine.

    Chickie,

MiMi and I are firmly in your camp. Our humans brought this big dumb dog into our happy house.

Help out a little more. Maybe wake Mommy up in the middle of the night to let her know how much you love her. That’s what I do.

We don’t have a helper-girl any more, just boyz, and the dog. She is a girl, and she does try to herd the alpacas, but the alpacas aren’t much bothered by chihuahua cross ankle biters. I’m glad the kitten found a good home.

So is Chickie. Your poor chihuahua must be so frustrated! She believes she’s a Border Collie, but she can’t convince the alpacas of that.

Yup. We encouraged her to believe she was a real dog when she was a pup. Sadly the alpacas didn’t get the memo, but at least they’re pretty tolerant and don’t step on her.
