No COVID For Me, Thanks! #ThursdayDoors

Per Bastet Publications, of which I’m 1/3 owner, went to our first event of the season: the Kentuckiana Independent Authors’ Fair in LaGrange, Kentucky. I wanted to be as safe as possible, so I got my second booster shot.

I got the shot at Walgreens, and was delighted to be shown into this tiny booth.

At the fair, the vendor room doors were all like this. Heart, heart, heart!

These next two are leftover from some trip or other. I love them because they’re wockerjawed.

This first one also has a train track next to it. You’re welcome, Dan.

And this one, in an uncomfortable-looking shape. Might make sense, if it were a pizza parlor.

Thursday doors is under the direction of Dan Antion, photographer extraordinaire and critter daddy. Visit his site, enjoy his wonderful photographs, follow his directions, and enter a world of doors.

About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

Thanks for keeping it safe and for including the trackside doors. How well you know me 🙂

I had to google wockerjawed, which hasn’t made it to my part of Indiana yet. It appears you are the reigning expert on its meaning. What a great word!

Maybe it’s specific to the West End of Louisville, where I grew up. Or maybe it’s a Kentuckyism.
