About

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but now live in the woods in southern Indiana. Though I only write fiction, I love to read non-fiction. The more I learn about this world, the more fantastic I see it is.

    . . . spring’s redbud bursts forth

    . . . a child’s wintry cheek

    . . . a charmed woman’s blush

    . . . the waxy lilac blossoms

. . . the sun shall soon rise

. . . the sun shall soon set

. . . a tummy flushes and flutters at eye level, rising and seeking and escaping all at once, yes, no, yes

. . . air at vespers when day becomes night (how can air do that?)

. . . a slap brings rosy anger and the fuchsia sting of shame

. . . tea of strawberry and wild roses changes with cream

    . . . a white cat’s perfect little nose bops wetly

    Pink.
