Trickie Chickie Outraged! #Caturday #TipperChickieAdi

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

I played two disappearing tricks on Mommy this week. First, we were in the bathroom with the door closed so Adi couldn’t come in and start something. When Mommy was busy, I snuck into the bathtub behind the shower curtain. She looked for me in all my usual places and was just starting to put one hand on her hip and scratch her head with the other hand when she heard me giggling and found me.

Then another time I went around behind her. She turned around to look for me, but I kept going around behind her so she couldn’t see me. It was so funny!

Dumb Adi is still here. Mommy says we might as well get used to her, but how can we when she goes around being cute all over the place? That’s our job!

#4 Hooman Sister brought a bag with stuff in it and, after she took the stuff out, Adi dragged the bag off the chair and got into it! That’s my cute trick! Get out of that bag, Adi!

And she gets up on the couch between Mommy and #4 Hooman Sister and shows off her stupid curly whiskers. Stop it, Adi!

She doesn’t even have regular toe beans! Look at them! They’re fuzz beans!

So I just had to be extra cute.

So there, Adi! Howdaya like them catnip apples?

Dear Chickie, since you’re a black and white cat, I can share this trick with you. The other cat in my house is my sister, MuMu. We look exactly alike, cept for one of my white socks is longer than hers. So, when I lay down, I always tuck that paw under my chin. That way, no one know who’s who.

You hang in there. If I can get used to my sister, you can get used to Adi. Of course, we’re 17 and that hasn’t happened yet, but maybe soon.

    Best,
    MiMi

MiMi, this is Tipper and Chickie’s mom. Thank you for giving me reason to hope. I think.

You can’t win, Chickie. You can’t come out even. You can only hang in there as long as you can, and then adjust. Like the rest of us.

Don’t give up, Chickie! I think you and Tipper are far cuter, and always will be, but…I do kind of feel sorry for Adi. I mean she doesn’t have a Mum or her own home any more, which is awfully sad. My lovely boy Harry left home once, for two weeks. He came back in the end but he was so very thin, and his brothers didn’t recognize him. They fought with him for a long time, and poor Harry was forced to spend most of his time outside. Us humans still loved him, but we couldn’t cuddle him as much as we wanted because the others would get angry and mean. So…I do feel sorry for Adi. Maybe you could just share a little?

Poor Harry! I think Chickie and Tipper should share. They each have their special places and things; unfortunately, Adi likes the same places and things they do. Ah, me, it’ll work out, one way or another.

I speak from experience when I say that sibling rivalry is a powerful thing. 🙂 Good luck!
