CoryDoors – Out Back Once More #ThursdayDoors

I haven’t been anywhere I haven’t been before, but I spotted some doors I hadn’t harvested on previous trips, plus two new-to-me restaurants. If Mom were alive, and before she went on tube feeding, we would SO have gone to both of these!

So, doors. There are two in this picture, one partially hidden, and the other…

…gone.

I like this door, fenced off from intruders from the drug store parking lot.

It matches this one, on a twin building on the other end of the fence.

These buildings belong to Koa’s Lodge, which has a restaurant in the back of it. I looked at their menu, and I think it’s pretty pricey, but I know I’m living in the past. Everything looks good, and it has only five-star reviews, so maybe I can lure Sara into going with me. They have vegan options, although the pork dumplings would probably be impossible to resist.

This next one used to be Lisa’s Sports Bar, which had great food. Mom loved it! Now it’s the Alibi. I looked them up online, but they don’t have a website, just a Facebook presence. I couldn’t find a menu, but they have “an extensive section of beers on tap” and they have Blue Plate Specials of things like meatloaf, chicken noodles, and fried tenderloin. Regular people food. Maybe Sara would go there with me, too. I don’t expect anything vegan, but I do fall off the turnip truck now and then.

Since I’m not looking for vegan entrees, I’d go to both places and enjoy. I love the ghost door you found. That’s well hidden.

I won’t have a post on the 18th, but you know me, I’m a sucker for doors. I will likely check them all out, and include them in the Recap on 28th. That’s not official, wink wink.

I’m pretty sure I’ll forgo the veganism for meatloaf and/or pork dumplings.

I thought it was hilarious, too. Utilizing the virtual butterfly net you gave me to catch those flying hugs!

I do like shutters. Charlie refused to put shutters on our house; he said they were a bugger to paint, and he wasn’t going to do it. lol

Aww, well that’s good to keep in mind, I’ll skip the shutters on ours so.
