Adi Inna Dog House #Caturday #TipperChickieAdi

Hewwo! Um, I’m Adi, okay?

I dot in trubble with Tipper and Chickie and now dey hate me again.

EverMom says “personal hi-jean” doesn’t belong on dis blog, but dat’s what started de trubble. I has long hair ebbywhere, and sometimes what happens in de litterbox doesn’t stay in de litterbox. So EverMom put me on her lap and cleaned me up wif a warm wet cloth, and I didn’t want her to.

I started yelling, like, “I hate you! You’re de worst Mom EBBER! I wish you wasn’t my Mom! You’re so mean!”

Den Tipper and Chickie ran in to where we were and stood in front of us and growled at me real hard! Dey said, “Don’t you talk to her like that! You’re stinky! We hate you!”

EverMom just talked soft to me and held me tight and cleaned me up. I didn’t scratch or bite. EverMom said dat’s just how little ones do when dey’re mad. She said if your kid doesn’t say dey hate you at least once, you’re not doing it right.

So now Tipper and Chickie hate me again.

EverMom plays wif me, dough, and I play near her.

When she’s inna back room, I hop up onto de catbird seat.

And I sit between EverMom and #4 Hooman Sister and dey love on me.

Maybe dey’ll let me do nail night with dem some time.

Long haired kitties do present a challenge. I hope everyone returns to a normal level of distrust.

    Does Adi like being brushed?

I know my hair needs it – or half the dust around here is clumps of it. And I’m not even a cat!

Adi HATES being brushed, and she would NOT take kindly to my trying to brush her, as my mother called it, where the feathers are thinnest.

Pippi used to get that, ah, problem every so often as she was a medium long hair. Sadly Mogi [dog] gets it too. With Mogi I can careful snip some of the fur away from the business end, but Pippi wouldn’t let me anywhere near her with scissors. -sigh- That’s just how it goes. Good luck with the others, Adi.

Yeah, I tried to snip Adi, but she wiggled so much I was afraid I’d perform an unauthorized surgery.
