HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

I got sick and threw up pink with red streaks in it, and Mommy was scared, but then she looked in the pantry and saw that I had been eating a hole in the red plastic mesh bag the potatoes came in. Tipper says I have a nobsession with plastic. Mommy says it’s dangerous, and tries to keep it away from me, but I sneak around and find it if I can.

Mommy helped take care of #1 Hooman Sister’s cats one day. Here’s a picture of MooMoo. She kind of looks like me only fat. This picture shows why she’s fat.

Mommy asked me to be a pretty loaf, so I did one, and she took a picture. I think I make her new rug look very classy.

I felt sorry for Mommy because Adi fussed at her that one time, so I brought her a present. She found it when she went into the bedroom.

She was really excited! She said, “OH!” and “MY GOD!” and “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?” She and #4 Hooman Sister picked it up with a stick and took it out into the back yard. I guess Mommy shared it with #4 Hooman sister, because they came back in without it.

I was proud. I made another loaf.

Oh, goodness! How did THAT get in? Was it still alive when you ‘presented’ it?

Not that they’re scary, but they are ‘outside’ animals.

It probably got in when the basement door was open. And, alas, it was completely dead when presented. We went through its pockets and looked for loose change. Either Sara or I would have picked it up with our hands if it had been alive, but dead is icky.

Ugh…I guess I now know the answer to my question. I had no idea snakes would come inside the house. And you’d pick it up????? Why????

Those little garter snakes come in to eat bugs, so I’d rather they didn’t, but I don’t freak if they do. I usually trap the little ones under a throw-away cup and slide a piece of cardboard under it and take them out. The ones too big for that, I don’t much mind picking up, although I must say that they don’t seem fond of the experience. Snakes are cool.
