Caturday: Adi Wet And Sheltered

Hewwo! Um, I’m Adi, okay?

Dis week, I got wet. I was inna bafftub, where I like to be, and EverMom came in and said, “I think you might want to get out of there.”

I was like, “I like it in here.”

EverMom said, “Okay, look.” and she turneded the water on and it ran out of de faucet and down de drain.

I was like, “Oh, boy! I get anudder baff!” I love baffs. So I stayed put.

EverMom said, “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” She pulled a fing, and water came down all over me! I jumped out, because I didn’t expect dat to happen! Den EverMom took her fur off and got in. It’s so weird when she does dat, but hoomans are different.

But I still like baffs, and I still like to be inna bafftub.

EverMom got us a Christmas present! It’s almost better dan a cardboard box! Chickie tried to be stingy wiff it.

But den she went away to play wiff Tipper, and I spenected de toy and I liked it.

Now, nobody fights ober de tent, so nobody plays in it.

Faith’s first cat, sadly no longer with us, used to love being in the bathtub. He didn’t like the water, just the tub.

I can understand that here: there’s a heat/cold grate in the bathroom, so it’s always cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than the rest of the house. Sara tells me her cat wants to be in the shower with her, then complains about the water, but doesn’t get out.
