Chickie Cuting Off #Caturday #TipperChickieAdi

HELLO! My name is CHICKIE!

Mommy got her eyeballs operated on so they’ll see better, and she can see far away and close up, but she can’t see in the middle. Well, she can KINDA see in the middle, if she uses her old glasses and sits way forward.

Lucky for her, it’s Caturday, so she doesn’t have to post! She says she’s going to try to start posting again, even though she won’t have her new glasses for three weeks. I don’t know how long that is, but Mommy says it’s about 193 more sleeps for a cat.

I wanted to give her something to look at with her new eyeballs, so I decided to reclaim my cat tree that Poppy made for me.

The catbird seat still smells like stinky Adi, so I don’t like to go up there. Mommy says she’s going to catnip it for me.

I like my silly-dur.

Tipper: It’s a cylinder, although when you’re on it, maybe it is a silly-dur. *snicker*

You hush!

Mommy says “cuting off” is what her grandpa used to call animals being cute, so I cuted off to make Mommy laugh.

And Mommy took a closeup of my toe beans. She says there’s something about looking at toe beans that makes hoomans happy.

A WRITING PROMPT FOR ANIMALS: What do you do to make your hooman happy? Or do you?

May the eyes work better very soon – all the better to see (these cuties) you with!

Now, see, if I had the audiobooks ready… But Life keeps handing out interruptions, and I can’t seem to get caught up yet.

I’m managing some time with your book! I want to take forever, to make it last, but I just keep reading!

Oh Chickie! Thank you. I laughed so hard at your cuting off on that sillidur. It’s very early morning here and you made my day start right. 😀
And now a question for you Mum: the new lens make it possible to say drive without glasses and read books without glasses but…not look at a computer screen??? I’m asking because I’ll have to get new eyeballs one of these days too.

I need glasses to read. The surgeon inserted lenses with my prescription for distance vision, and my regular eye doctor gave me cheaters with clear glass on the top and magnifying lenses on the bottom, but I need an intermediate prescription for middle vision. I’ll get glasses with that addition when I get my new prescription in a couple more weeks. 🙂
