Caturday: Wet-Tailed Adi

Hewwo. Um, I’m Adi, okay?

EverMom had to give me anudder baff.

Chickie: Tell her what you did!

I don’t wanna.

Chickie: I told about how I poked a hole in Mommy.

Um, okay. She wrapped me up in a towel after my baff, but I didn’t like it and I wiggled out and jumped down, and I askidentally poked two holes in her arm and dey blooded a little. And my tail was wet for a long time.

MamaJess came to visit and she wanted to take a picture of me with my fluffiest floof showing. She said, “Adi, look over here,” and I did.

I hope PapaJoe comes to visit me again. I like it here, but I miss him.

De udder morning, I was very brave and went and sat on de footstool at de bottom of EverMom’s bed. I turnded on my UdderCat Early Warning System, but the udder cats didn’t come in.

EverMom dot a widdle shavey fing dat buzzes, and she holds me in her lap and slowly cuts de matts outa my fur. I don’t like it much, but I like it when she stops and I can just snuggle on her lap.

Guess what? Sometimes, Tipper and Chickie forget to hiss at me. Hehehehe!

She is a fluff! I hope that means they’re getting along better.

She’s mostly nice. She only hurts by “askident”. It’s usually just bad language.

Only two holes? That’s pretty mild you know. I’ve only bathed a cat once in my life and I swore I’d never do it again. Don’t know how you managed it. And as for you, Adi, you have my sympathy. Glad it’s over. 🙂

I’ve only had trouble with one cat in my life, and he just objected to the idea. If I had gotten him into the tub, he probably would have calmed down. My trick is to not put them IN the water, just have it running or have a bucket of water in the tub near them. I also hold one of their legs , holding the paw down against the bottom of the tub. That generally works.
