I’ve had my mind on Tybee Island lately. Tybee Island is just off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. I spent a week there, lo, these many years ago, and I’m still running on the fumes. Fans of Lonnie and Tiny know I sent them (and the wives, of course) there in a couple of Story-A-Day May adventures, which I combined into “Lonnie, Me, and the Reptiles of Tybee Island” for my Lonnie and Tiny short story collection.
ANYWAY, thinking about Tybee Island got me thinking about beaches, and so these are my nails this week:

The base color on all the nails is Maniology’s Doll Dance. The accent nails are a gradient of Doll Dance (at the top), Maniology’s Nightengale (in the middle), and Maniology’s Sunrise (at the bottom). This is far from a perfect gradient, but it’s probably the best one I ever achieved, so I’ll take it. The stamping polish is Maniology’s Garden Gnome. The plates I used were Maniology’s M210, Nicole Diary – 179, and Beauty Big Bang’s Silhouette-XL-002.
A WRITING PROMPT FROM ME TO YOU: A long-remembered place is an inspiration.
